23. WarGames

I have vague recollection of an 80's film about a video. This turned out not to be it. I guess I'll keep looking.

11. Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace

For a long time this movie poster hung in my bedroom.

10. Made of Honor

9. Inkheart

In my defense 8,9, and 10 I watched yesteday at my cousin's house, and I had no control over what was playing on TV.  Based on the movie I have no inclination to read the book.

8. Away We Go

This fell under the same category as Igby Goes Down.

7. Shopgirl

Steve Martin as a romantic interest for anyone is just wrong. I don't ever want to see him shirtless again.

Metropolitan - UHB

Metropolitan (1990) - Trailer

6. Igby Goes Down

I really dislike Claire Danes.
Blogging from the comforting safety of my bed, while watching Igby Goes Down. This is one of those movies that because of resentment for my friends having gone to the cinema without me, I never got around to watching it. (There is a long list of films that have suffered the same fate. I have shitty friends.)

5. Metropolitan

I've been meaning to finish watching this movie seen high school.

I highly recommend this film. Looking forward to watching Whit Stillman's other 2 films at some point. Especially Barcelona.  Based on this one film, I think he is a genius. I don't understand why he hasn't made a film since the 90's.

1. American Graffiti

Finally, got around to watching American Graffiti. I was expecting something a bit different, being a George Lucas film and all. Best part of the film is the lighthearted rape joke. I learned new phrases like, "Go kiss a duck." Best line of the film is as follows, "If the prize is you, I'm already teddy." Added that to my repertoire of cheesy pickup lines. On an end note Harrison Ford was hot. Really really HOT. Ron Howard was cute too. What I walked away with from the film is youth is attractive. No one ages gracefully, they just age.
